Power Steering

Has anyone had problems with their power steering systems? Mine seems to freeze up on occasion. Always in park or very low speed. It feels like there is very low, intermittent assist. My fluid is clean, and its not low.

yes, as soon as i switched to my 19's with super-sticky Pilot Sport PS2 (235/35-19), at stop or slow speeds it's like the power steering isn't assisting enough. I tried doing 'slalom' around a speed bump in a parking garage and almost plowed into a parked car because the steering was sluggish and didn't respond to the quick direction change. Anyone else have input on this??

I had something similar problem with mine, the steering would be a little "jerky" or have a slow response at low speed or while parking. For me, it turned out to be a bad steering belt. Haven't had the problem since I changed it, and that was about 2 years ago. I would recommend adjusting or maybe changing your belt if it's old.

I tightened my belt last night. It seemed pretty loose. Seemed to have cured the problem
