Hey Everyone,

I have a 1998 Acura 3.2 TL. I cannot get the Fuel Door to Open at all. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know if there is a manual release in the trunk? I don't know where to look for one and I don't have a manual. Thanks.

 

check to see if the cable has disconnected from your latch release... you may have to open your trunk and manually pull on the cable to release the door so you can fill up...

Do the 1998 TLs have a manual release in their trunk? If so, can you tell me where it is locatd and how it looks?

I don't know of any manual release... But I'd say just use an eyeglass screwdriver and gently pry the door open at the latch. Good luck.
