Panel light issue

Hi! All: I have a 1997 Acura 3.2 TL. Some of the lights on the instrument panel behave weirdly. When I accelerate from 0, the brake light would occasionally come on. it stays on for a few seconds then would go off. Also, sometimes the TCS light would come on, but it would stay on until I switch off/on the car. But I don't notice anything wrong with the driving, the car runs fine, engine is ok, starts up quickly with no issue at all, just those two lights. Has anyone experienced same thing before?

have you checked your brake reserve resevoir? if your brake light is flickering under accel, i am assuming that the fluid is getting low and when the car moves, the fluid is moving around and is triggering your light...

have you tried pressing your TCS button after the light has come on in order to try turning it off manually???

Thanks! I read my handbook and found exactly what you said, I should check the brake fluid level, will do that this weekend.

But TCS light is still a mystery, Yes I tried press the TCS button -- it doesn't help. Once the TCS light comes on, it stays on until the engine shuts off, no matter how many times I press that TCS button. But it only comes on occasionally, maybe once in ten times when I turn on the engine.

I am glad to report issue has been resolved. Yes the brake fluid level was low, my dealer is kind enough to fill that up free for me when I went there to replace one of the brake light bulb. And amazingly, even the TCS light went off now. I am still not 100% sure, coz the TCS light only came on occasionally ...
