P1201 to P1206 and P0300

P1201 to P1206 and P0300

These are the latest codes:

P1201 to P1206 Indicates Fuel System failure causing misfires to Cyl 1 to 6

P0300 Indicates multiple misfirings

So after chasing the Ignition Switch (replacement), this is not the root cause.

How about the MAIN RELAY? Should I proceed to replace this as well and see?

Or perhaps this is a fuel supply issue?

Help! Before I take it to the shop.

After replacing the Ignition switch and still had stalling and misfires and finally with no-start situation (even the Neutral start did not work anymore) I secured a OEM replacement Main Relay ($120) at your a Auto store, Advance Auto.

Now the hard work of getting it replaced needed to be done. Havind the new unit, it was easy to see where it was. It was tough getting to it. I tried several things to remove the relay but was not successful. I ended up simply unplugging the 2 connectors and I plugged in the new relay.

And yes finally, soon as I plug in the new Main Relay. Heavenly sound, 1 click and the car started.

So here's hoping that I have licked the issue.

With this de-bugging I ended up cleaning the Throttle body, dumping Seafoam into the gas tank, replacing the ignition switch (I will post pics as well) and finally the Main Relay. Thanks a lot to the forum, with some patience and research through the many posts, I really hope the issue was laid to rest. Pics of the Ignition SW replacement will follow.

TexasHonda and the others who chimed in, thanks. A special mention to Go90Go! He declared it was the Main relay!

Almost a month later, everything's well, knock on wood. 1 click start and no stalling. Main Relay was the culprit.

Knocking on wood...

Back...for main relay issues, this is sometimes diagnosed as the Ignition Switch issue. I fell in the same trap, but hey my TL sits on a new Ignition Switch, the new owner is lucky.
