P0481 and P0141 OBD2 code on '96 TL

Cooling Fan circuit malfunction - P0481
Heated O2 Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2 (by the Catalytic converter) - P0141

Anyone one with similar problem and how did you resolve them?

Replacing O2 Sensor in Canada costs $450 CDN just for the part. At the parts bin store website it's listed for $196 US. However, the OEM Denso website has it listed at $136 US but the year is for a '98 TL not '96. Is the O2 sensor the same for both year cars?

Where is the cooling fan switch located?

Please advise.

Welcome to the boards!! I don't really have much info about the cooling fan failure but with O2 sensors, you can bring it in, provided you have less than 150k miles on the odometer.

Thanks for the info. Do you know if this applies to cars in Canada? I am located in Toronto and my car has 153,000 miles so I guess I just missed the recall.
