The noises continue... Front driver side grumble...

so this morning on the way to work, i different type of noise coming from the driver side front area. last week i changed the UCA so the ball joint is new and the clicking is now gone during certain turning positions...

but now, when i was in traffic, i heard this slight grumble/gurgle sound happen if i was slowly creeping and jab the brake pedal really quickly... at first i thought that it was the brake caliper clamping the rotor, but it shouldn't make a grumble sound? and it didn't happen if i had the car in neutral and press on the brake pedal... so it happened only when i was moving at slow speeds and quickly stopping...

any thoughts? everything looked okay when i changed the UCA except the tie rod dust boot was broken, but no noises when turning the wheel... do we have strut bar bushings that go bad?

I have the same noise but from the front passenger side I suspect the tie rod end "Ball" wearing out because when I checked the tie rod end "ball' had some play almost felt loose. It sounds almost like it's shifting or something. Anyways good luck figuring that one out.

i have to agree with you as it seems to only be happening if the wheel is slightly turned...

i'll check that tie rod again since the boot was a bit torn anyway...

it is never ending!!!

Did you ever resolve the clicking issue? And how was your tie rod? Do you or anyone else know if the tie-rod should have a little play, or none at all? I am looking for an after market tie rod, if needed? I am unsure about this....Thanks

It's definitely the outer tie rod I just inspected it and the boot was torn. It had alot of play when I took everything apart so that's next on my list.
