Need ABS codes
'97 3.2 TL
I got ABS code 15, but I don't know what it means. I found codes for the older Hondas/Acuras, and there's no code 15. In the newer ones (for some newer Hondas), 15 means right rear wheel sensor circuit is open. Can someone confirm this? Thanks!

Honda ABS Codes
Try above link. I think your interpretation is correct. Try google for more direct confirmation.
Sometimes you can simply clean the sensor and rotor lugs underneath the sensor to correct the problem. I stuffed a rag into the sensor hole and rotated the wheel by hand to clean the lugs. If sensor resistance is out of spec, a new sensor is needed.
good luck

Thanks, that link was one of the few that I discoverd while searching on google and yahoo, I wish it would say 'Acura'. The problem is intermittent, i.e. I can drive the car for 10-15 minutes before the light comes on. So I'll try cleaing it first, like you suggest, and check the wiring harness.
I have both Accords and Acura and codes are identical for identical ABS systems. If ABS system is different, then codes may differ.
I found that 94-97 Accord ABS is identical to the ABS on 97 Acura 2.2CL. The ABS unit in the TL's is different. Acura shop manual is your best bet to be sure. I have a 2.5TL which has a different ABS from the 3.2TL, so my 2.5TL manual may not help. I'm out of town in any case and don't have access to my manual.
good luck
