i hope the title was descriptive enough but everytime i go over a bump on the right side i hear a loud thump... in the past week ive had the struts and upper control arms done...and the noise is still there...mechanic said they couldnt find anything......does anyone have an idea of wat it could be..

Bumpstop?

 

Yeah I dunno I haven't figured it out because it does it while turning sometimes too. Plus my front brakes make a clackaty clack sound while turning and braking. I just figured I would let whatever it is just go ahead and break and then go from there. I'm probably gonna get rid of the car here soon. I am sick of the alarm and I am tired of Gas issue with it. It was my third Acura and I'm gonna sell out for an Altima. I'll keep the Integra though just for fun. I did change the ball joint and Tie rod boots without any success in determining the noise. At this point I don't even care anymore. if you figure it out man lemme know... cause i just gave up.

 

It sounds like a bumpstop to me. Don't get a Nissan. When they have sus problems, they sound even worse, and are a pain to work on. I was driving a Sentra for a week, and now I'm driving an Altima and the damn thing sounds like it's about to fall apart. My buddy's Maxima goes clackity-clack rolling on a flat surface.
