Since I don't know where you live, I can't recommend a place to get your oil changed. But, as to the type of oil, you can continue to use the same oil you've been using with no problem.

oil belongs in the ground.... but I'd recommend 5w-30 weight. As for oil - AMSOIL ALL THE WAY!!! Because of extended drain intervals, I only need to climb under the car every 7500 miles to do the oil filter and every 15k miles for oil and filter. The reason for 7500 oil filter replacements is because they don't make an amsoil filter for our application and WIX filters are only good for 7500 miles.

no ive serviced the Tl when i have to due to the high mileage , ive tried to do regular maintenance on the TL I guess that's why its lasted on original tranny and motor. i hear a few ticks and dings, but she seems to run strong. As far as an oil change goes i went to a shop and asked for a price for an oil change on the car they want $45 filter & oil supposedly because "its harder to do" .....aint that some

i just hate the fact that most of the shops iv'e taken the TL to seem to stop for a minute and say. "uhh its an Acura, its harder to work on because of all the parts". im dead serious it happens to me all the time, Im pretty sure if i slapped on a Honda emblem shops would give me a better deal knowing hondas are usually easy to work on. It suckss how we have to pay extra, lol

They don't make one for the 3.2 application and because WIX is the best rated second to the Amsoil filter. And as far as I know, conventional filters are good for 7500 miles. and filter best at around 6k miles. When it gets to about 7k miles it begins to clog.
