I need some help

1st time posting here.
I own a 2000 TL

So I've replaced the starter a couple of weeks ago and replaced the alternator just a couple of days ago. I have a Optima Red Top that is good. BUT, I am still getting the loud clicking sound from around the starter when I try to start it. The thing I'm not understanding is that when I put a jump pack to it, it starts pretty much right away.

Why won't it start without the jump pack?????

What am I missing????

and what was the voltage?

when changing out the components, did you check cables for corrosion? ground cables included.
