a UA engine is a swap I plan for in the future. I would rather have the 2.0 engine. Question, could I possibly find this UA with a manual tranny? If you're wondering why I choose to downgrade my engine... it is because I do believe in upgrading performance, but without combustion of more fuel. I'm a Green Racer! Oh, but since this is a string about headlights.. I'm about to take out my old headlights and install some JDM lights with eyelids! There is also a Pro/Con which excites and dissapoints me at the same time. The sidemarkers for my JDM lights have a capacity to have 5W LED lights, as opposed to the US's 1W LED. The drawback is... the harness is entirely different, and so is the base for the bulbs and harness to plug into. Long term plans are to also turn my sidemarkers into sidemarker/turn signals. Anyone have any info on that conversion?

There's a DIY on the sidemarker conversion, and as someone else has just posted pics about, the extra filament is not meant to blink.

1. DISCONNECT ALL Wires leading to ur headlights. Take out the bulbs.
2. Remove the Corner Lights on the bottom portion of the bumper.
3. Remove the Grill
4. Remove the bumper itself. Its held on by i think 5 bolts.. 3 in the front, one on each side.. and 2 screws under the tirewell in the front... you need a phillips screwdriver to remove it.
5. Upon removal of the bumper, remove the metal reinforcement bar.
6. After removing the reinforcement bar, you'll see the 3 bolts on the bottom that are holding the headlights down. Remove those. Also remove the 2(?) bolts on the top of the light.
7. After removing the bolts, pull the headlights out. You might have to move it from side to side to get it out.. takes a couple mins.

There ya go... and its recommended you have a friend to help you put on the bumper and reinforcement bar afterwards... cuz the SOB wont stay still no mater what xD

Is your drivers side headlight in good condition? cuz i might need a new drivers side headlight... -_-;

Remove the grille!?!? The thing is attached to the hood. Why in the heck would you remove the grille for a headlight!??!

Now THAT is odd. Why would they attache the grille to the hood on the 3.2 and not the 2.5? Its the same darn car. Very very odd.

As Art said, the whole front end is different shape wise. Its not really odd considering the 2.5 is an L5 and the 3.2 is a 6 cylinder. Also the 2.5 is a 4-lug and the 3.2 is a 5 lug. Those are just some of the differences between the cars.

Most UAs in Japan came with cloth seats. Leather was an option on most cars, and it's actually a bit rare to see leather in an Inspire unless it's a 32V.
