Question how to remove the front airbag panel?

i have a 98 2.5 tl and the SRS light keeps showing up, im trying to remove the airbag panel from the steering wheel but not sure how, im sure the problem presists there, may have not been hooked up once the airbag was released during an accident, anyone have an idea on how to remove the front panel?

If you have sufficient mechanical skill to perform this task, I would suggest purchasing the shop manual for your Acura. This is not a task w/o risks. It is possible to accidentally discharge an airbag and injure/kill the person sitting in the seat. Airbag electronics must be "safed" before you remove the airbag.

I'm not sure I would try this myself and I have significant diy experience. If you are determined, don't try w/o a shop manual and some time reading the procedure carefully and strictly applying the procedure.

If you have any doubts, you should seek professional help.

Good Luck

its not your airbag, its your air bag sensor, it needs to be reset, take it to you dealer is shouldn't cost more then 50 dollars to do. don't touch the airbag. if that blows and hits u in the face death may be a result.

Since its an essential safety item, many dealerships will cover part of the repair cost. Shop around!
