Help Help Help!!!!

Ok...so my 96 Accord LX has the power doors....I was trying to replace the power window regulator and in order to get inside I was trying to remove the door panel...only thing is that I did not take out the screw that's located on the inside of the door release handle...so I was pulling and pulling then....SNAP....dunno what happened but now, my power locks are staying locked! all of my doors are locked and I am not able to unlock ANY door!! What can I do? Is it something that I can fix from my house??? help me someone if ya can!!!!

It won't help you much now, but your problem demonstrates why purchase of a manual to remove any part is essential. It's not obvious where fasteners are located. If you had searched this forum you could have found clues to the correct procedure.

First step in your repair is to go buy a manual of some type or download one. You need to understand the power lock wiring and which wires to check for damage.

The power door lock switch is located in the door latch assembly. You probably have damaged the wiring or switch in forcing the fastener to break. You'll probalby need to get a new handle assembly. The screw is probably still in place in the door assy and needs to be removed. The door latch rods and link may also be damaged.

can't he splice the wires and use electric tape or something to connect them again?

Wires can be spliced, if that's the problem. However, the latch assy is broken since he forced it off over the screw.
