Few more problems 1996 2.5 TL
1. I have oil in the holes around the spark plugs. Not down under them (havent looked so not sure.) But down in the plug tube around the top part of the plug. Im hoping its just tube seals and while im replacing those im doing valve cover gasket also. Any recommendations to other seals or anything i should replace while im in there? Im also gonna use a shop towel or rag to get the oil out of the hole before i take the plugs out to prevent oil from getting down in the hole plugs go in.
2. Replaced fuse box (eld code p1298 fix) and ignition coil. These fixed an accel prob i was having. But (now rarely) it will take until close to 4k rpms for the trans to shift gears so those 2 seemed to fix the problem almost completely. It'll occasionally have slow accel and when i give it the gas, the car will slightly nosedive like it has no overdrive. Trans shifts smoothly though. Any recommendations for the cause of this?
3. Random cylinder misfire. Dealership said i needed new engine harness (wiring harness?) They said something looked rigged on Cylinder 5 so it was grounded and firing correctly but i didnt have a clue what he was talking about. Any idea for a cost and difficulty to replace?

dude sounds like you need to quit trying to get out of this for cheap and face the facts. sorry to say it like that but your wasting money and not fixing anything. your trans or part of it sounds like its done, if your harness is actually bad then its expensive and a pain to replace. put up a vid of the shifting issue if you can.
