Engine turn but doesn`t start

Hello!
I have an acura 1998 2,5 TL 50000km(30000miles).
Sometimes start and sometimes (on rainy days) doesn`t start.Checked main relay(solders) OK.

Some help or how to diagnose. The car is only 30000 miles very good condition.Canada.

Thanks!

Engine turns but doesn't ignite

If I try to start the car the engine turns(starter works) but doesn't give any sign of explosion.

check you distribution cap for any crack.
also it may be related to fuel pump or relay.

^ Yeah, what he said... check your distributor cap since you mentioned it not starting in damp condition (rainy days).

Good source of information

AFTER FEW HOURS OF RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET I FOUND A MORE THAN USEFUL LINK ABOUT ACURA - HONDA PROBLEMS,ESPECIALLY HOW TO SIMPLY DIAGNOSE THEM.

WITH YOUR PERMISSION I'LL POST THE LINK AND I'D LIKE TO HEAR YOUR OPINION.

The fact it runs OK when things are dry indicates the coil/igntor (one piece) is OK. Problem could be distributor cap, rotor, spark wires, plugs, or all of these. Since cost of these parts is moderate, its best to replace all of these unless some are new already. If you want to do in steps, start w/ distributor cap/rotor, plugs, and last wires.

good luck
