electrical problem

i have a 2.5 tl and the button on the driver side that operates passenger window
has contact issues.. i have opened it up and cleaned the contacts 3 times over the course of 3 years and it still gets corroded.. i even packed it with dielectric grease.
held up better but the problem is back..

i think there is something basic about electricity that i am missing here...

This is not an uncommon problem on all types of cars. It seems to be random. Some cars have problems, some don't. I would suggest purchasing a used switch assy from a salvage yard, since yours won't stay fixed. It could be a weak switch spring or out-of-spec contact. Try car-part.com to find a local yard w/ your part.

good luck

I've got the same issue but with something much more important: battery cables.
