Dropzone springs. Fitment in rear? (3.2TL)

I bought the dropzone lowering springs for my 98 3.2tl and legend struts for the front. installation in the front went fine, but when i took the rear spring out and tried to put the new one in it was not only too short but too small in diameter.(this is with stock struts) i dont know if i got the wrong part or i need to use the strut assembly from a different car. hope this is in the right place and thanks for the help

Out of curiosity, what are the diameters and lengths for the replacement springs? Anyhow, the 94-97 Accord rear shocks should fit as Colt is using re-valved and shortened 96 Accord ones.

The top diameter is 3 and 7/8 inches to the outside of the coil and the bottom is 3.5 inches where it gets smaller. total length isslightly under 13 inches. Not only is the diameter to small for where it sits on the strut, it is too small for the diameter of the cup on the stop of the strut assembly. If i get the accord springs it will still be to small for thetop cup, unless i need to get that from an accord. Do you think i was sent the wrong part?

I don't know what top-hat Colt's using, but he was using a 2.5"ID, 10" free length spring with GC sleeves with the Accord shocks in the rear. With your provided measurements, I'm guesstimating that the ID is around 3". Colt, please chime in with any ideas you might have.

~Cheers~

P.S. 13" for both front and back? Or something like 10" for the front?

I'd say call them directly, but Colt would know since he has them. Here's their number:

(530) 677 - 8600.
