Drivers Door wont Lock

The drivers door lock thingy wont even move! I cant fully lock the car. What gives? Is the actuator gone? Do we have any write-ups on this?

simply hold the handle in the open position and then hit the lock switch. That can be it

Take off the door panel and grease the hinge. It could just be dry.
