I am having problems moving the seat forward. The back will recline and the seat will go up and down but won;t go forward. It stopped about a month ago in the forward position, and that was good for me because I am short. But one morning I got in and it was so far back its like I am in the back seat. And wont go forward for anything. WHAT CAN I DO, PLEASE!!! Is there a way to manually move it?

 

Is this a power seat or manual seat?

If manual, the latch mechanism may be stuck. It's probably easier to remove the seat and clean, lube the latch, release lever. and linkage wire.

If the seat is a power seat, it could be the switch, fuse, or power seat motor. Check fuse first, switch, and finally check seat motor w/ 12v direct power.

A shop manual w/ wiring diagram will help you.
