Does replacement ECU _need to be programmed?/ 1996 2.5 TL
if I get an ECU (engine computer) from a junkyard or wreck that has matching part numbers can it simply be swapped out and used or is there any information that needs to be programmed into it by a dealer?
Car:; 1996 2.5 TL (5 cylinder) with auto trans.
