OK, this is a new problem I am having. When the 1998 2.5TL is idle (on drive or reverse and have the brakes applied), the car shakes. I should also mention that the CEL is on and with a OBD reader I have, I am getting code p0301 (Cylinder 1 Misfire). I have been trying to fix this problem for a while and have done the following:

Replace Spark Plugs
Replace Ignition Wires
Replace Distributor Cap
Replace Rotor
Replace Fuel Injector

 

Most likely one or more of your motor mounts are torn. Check your EGR valve, too, for the misfire. Unlikely that only one cylinder is misfiring if that is clogged, but worth a look.

Thanks for the tips. However, I am completely new at this so what you have stated, I don't know what they are. I will eventually learn about this car as time progress but right now, I am a so-called noob.
