Hey guys my 98 2.5 just started doing something strange, it comes on fine but for some reason the compressor shuts down and then comes back on. Took it to a shop and was told that it may or may not be the compressor, they evacuated the entire system and recharged it and the same problem still exist. The fan continues to blow, but since the compressor shut off, it starts to blow warm air until the compressor decides to come back on. Any help would be appreciated.

 

My car got the same issue last summer. It got fix by purchased the TEMPERATURE CONTROL CLIMATE AC HEAT SWITCH. You can find it from carpart . com or ebay

It's not too difficult to remove. You have to be patience to remove a wood trim from the passenger side wait up to driver side. Do it slowly slowly
