Thanks todd,
thank you for finding those,
do you by chance know what the remedies for those two codes are?
also, my car makes this "waaaaahhhh" know several times when started that comes from the abs unit itself, i assume the codes have something to do with that, but would you have any input on that either?
thanks,
todd

I'll try to figure out how to post the remedies for these codes. I think the noise at startup is the ABS trying to pump up and it cuts out when it shows a leak. That's what mine did before I replaced the whole unit. Without trying to fix anything, I'd buy a mid price one at CarParts.com (I think that's where I got the line on mine). I seem to have got a good one for about $100. After replacing the whole unit, I've had no more problems. As Texas Honda suggested, when changing the ABS metal lines, use a pretty tight flare nut wrench to get em off and back on. I rounded one and it took me forever to get it tightened. I ended up buying a cheap tiny vise grip that finally got it done. I'll try to post the remedies soon.
Damn, I typed a lengthy reply and it got lost when I tried to post it.
Here goes again:
The part is called ABS Modulator.
Disassembling isn't all that difficult once you find the mounting screws and figure out how to disconnect the electrical connectors.
Be very careful to not round off the flare nuts and definitely don't cross thread them when reinstalling the unit.
I emailed the vendor a picture of my unit in the car to ensure they had the right modulator before finalizing the order.
I'll try to dig up the pdf showing how to disassemble the unit.
