98 3.2 wont start
98 3.2 wont start
I drove my car to whataburger and then a convenience store around midnight and came home - everything was fine. I get up the next morning and the car wont start.
It turns but never would start. So I thought it was the Main Relay because that has happened to me before. I took out the main relay and re-soldered all the connections and then tested it (followed the service manual) put it back in and there was no change, still no start. So then I tried to jump-start it just to see - and nothing. So then I thought lets pull the codes with my obd-2 scanner which gave me P0112 which is Idle Air control valve - I cleaned that sucker up and nothing. Then I said let me check my plugs, and I noticed two had some oil on the electrode, so I replaced them all. I then thought about fuel delivery so I took off the Banjo bolt at the fuel filter and I could hear the psst sound from the pressure and there was fuel there - so I'm thinking fuel is okay. I did notice that my coolant reservoir was almost completely empty - I topped that off. It started one time for about 2 seconds but that was it. I was thinking that my Yellow Top battery may have a bad cell so I took the battery out of and Chevy Equinox and I get the same no start results. Any thoughts?
