hi all, new here, I have an interesting dilemma, I met a guy at krispy kreme the other day and he asked if I worked on cars, of course I do, he proceeded to explain how his acura runs but the belts dont turn... I laughed and couldnt for the life of me explain what was causing his problem (mainly because I didnt believe that was possible; seeing as how large the key is for the crank pulley and the general size of the crank)

after meeting him at his house, and seeing with my own eyes, the crank is spinning (as is the bolt) however the pulley is not.

Has anybody ever heard of this? Im not a honda guy which is why im posting this question, but I thought all cars had keyways on the front of the crank.

I'll bet someone forgot to put the key back in when they replaced the pulley?
