Can someone tell me which o2 sensor is the sensor 2? My mechanic has a diagnostic machine and it shows that it is the sensor 2. Dealer wants me to bring it in so that they can take a look w/ their machine (want my $ of course). They won't even tell me which one it is over the phone. Help me out guyz!

 

How many miles does it have? If it's under 140k or 150k, you should be able to fix anything emissions related problems from the dealer for free, plus they'll give it a tuneup. Do a search here for the emissions recall. You should find lots of info.

 

Even with it being a 96' model?

 

96 and 97 models are covered up to 150k miles... get ur vin and call acura to check their records to see if it has been done...

 

yep, any 96 or 97 honda or acura with under 150k miles is eligible for a free tune up between 75k and 150k miles. Additionally, anything that triggers a check engine light and/or is emissions related will be fixed at no charge upto 150k miles!
