I have a nasty vibration under acceleration and at a stop while in gear. My first thought is engine mounts, I took a look and found that they are vacuum controlled. I need help. Do these go bad? has anybody had the same symptoms? Please help.

 

yup these definitely go bad. i have vibrations when shifting and at idle although not as pronounced. as for shifting i had tranny flushed so i think mounts have something to do with it. they definitely go bad though had exhaust manifold replaced they found two of thse suckers broken and offered to replace for me at a bargain price of 940 parts plus labor. im not too fond of getting raped so these wont be fixed it is just ludicrous to pay this much for something like that oh well as long as car runs im straight.. good luck with it hope thats not it
