Updated Pics

Haven't posted in awhile and just like to share some updated pics of the TL aka Inspire.

For shits and giggles, I spray painted the oem rims gunmetal to see what it'll look like

I would also like to welcome the new people... there soo many unfamiliar screen names. Welcome to the board!

Beautiful car man, very clean & JDM "Inspired"

Not sure how I feel about the rims in gunmetal though and IMO you should put amber bulbs in the clear bumper lenses. Clear bumper lenses have always screamed ricer to me.

Overall I give it a 8.5/10 lol.

I haven't seen this car in a long time, and it still looks clean. I still like that inspired rear plate garnish because it is a very subtle, but clean difference.

Your car looks bad ass, but I don't like the rims though.

And also, how come your inspires don't have that slight hint of orange/amber in the reverse/signal part of the light?
Here's what I mean, the 1st pic is yours and the second is the one with a hint of amber(pic stolen from Big Balla - hope you don't mind)

The OEM Inspires are clear with an amber cap inside, just like the tails, it looks to be the T10 in the lower position lamp IS amber, and the bulbs inside the turn signal housing are the type that are silvery when off, amber when on.

Welcome back, Acurasnake. It's been awhile since I've read your posts! Your car is as beautiful as ever, .

~Cheers~

The same idea design is up front. You can remove the amber cap from behind by Dremeling it out, or heating the tail lights and opening the front cover to unclip the amber cap.

THANKS!

I got the wing from a website a couple years back ...01' or 02' the website is no longer available... the company is value sports... there's a member here who bought the value sports kit... you might wanna email him and you can purchase the value sports wing from the same place he got his kit.

Haha, I don't mind not having a wing, because the truck has a slight lip to it already. It's be nice to have one, but it's not really necessary.

What I do think, though, is that 2.5ers should all be hunting for either lips or 3.2 bumpers (if their cars are still stock height) because the 2.5 bumper looks like it doesn't have a jaw. If you've ever seen a person who has dipped (smokeless tobacco) for many years, you'll see where I'm coming from, unless they've already made holes in their faces.

~Cheers~

yeah i know what u mean. i had that idea in mind.. get a lip for my bumper..? or get the bumber of a 3.2.. and from the looks of it the bumber of the 3.2 should go on with no problem on the 2.5... like i dont know what should i do to the back..? get a wind..? or get a lip for the rear bumber..?

If you get a properly designed wing, it'll actually help keep the rear of the car cleaner. I once washed and waxed, then drove about 2-3 minutes to the gas station to get gas. As I was pumping, I noticed the plate area and the top of the rear bumper had a fine layer of black soot already. A wing would help keep the air straighter and not go in a circle, pulling dust from underneath the car onto the top of the bumper.

~Cheers~
