nothing super new added lately....except i did do a big thing with the paint. gave it the bar and then a 3 part clean, polish, wax thing. took many hours to complete. pretty much hand 'waxed' the car about 11 times. so here are the results.







after it had rained a few days later.....car still looked like it does here. so that stuff must have worked. go mcguires. oh.....i guess there were a few dirt marks from the water running down. but overall....it's good.

yeah, i went to Midas and they bent me a pipe....pretty cheap actually....cheaper than i thought it'd be anyways. the muffler is a Magnaflow, straight through design. it's not whisper quiet like stock, but it's not horrible either. whatever you do, keep your resonator on....i had to have it reinstalled.

 

How did you black out the chrome trim around the front and rear window ? or is that a 2.5 thing or am i seeing it wrong ? LOL Im just asking becuase I have a 3.2 and want to get rid of the chrome around the windows

First comment: ...i mean it.. lol now whut % tints do u have? and how did u get the rear window to even itself out with tha tint..or is it a 2.5-3.2 thing cuz i have 35% (3.2) and mine (tint) never even'd out like that on tha rear window..its juz spotted..

 

hehe, thx. not sure of the %. it was on the car when i got it. i think 20 or 35...but unsure which. and actually, the tint is comin off on the driver's side at the very top corner. but you can't see that from the outside, nor notice it from the inside, so i'm leaving it for now.

if you did the tint yourself, then there could be many reasons. i'd never try to do it myself again. i can do side windows.....but the back window....hell nah.

 

Auto stores sell a black bumper and trim paint. We blacked out the chrome trim on my friends accord and it came out really good. It's great stuff for fading trim, blacking out chrome, repainting wiper arms etc. It's flexable and is an inexpensive way to do blackouts.

If you can I would use a spray gun...not out of a spray can. Easier to blend, we finished w/ a watered down clearcoat and it blended spray lines perfectly. GL

Yeah I love that paint used it for another car i had and looked like a pro job, but i only used it on wipers and areas like that i figured covering chrome with it would leave scratches showing chrome through ?

Plus that has to be one hell of a tapeing off job how has it held up ?

 

Damn clean TL man, how much was ur exhaust and what part of the pipe did they bend, becauseim interested in getting. depends on the cost tho.

 

magnaflow muffler was like $120 or something. they bent the pipe from the resonator back (leave the resonator on if you get this muffler....trust me). that was like $50. in the end with labor and parts, etc. .. it was like $240'ish.
