The picture next to the tree was the closest picture I took that really shows the darkness of them, everything else was either too bright or too dark. I just grabbed some more out in the driveway though.

Ya not sure about the tinted, cause now you can't see them. The look of the TL is classic by the headlights and bumper lights. Looks more like a Camry now. I will give you originality though, and car looks clean.

I think that I am going to get some tint film and tint the headlights and a set of clear corners to see how that looks, along with tinted windows (35%) and I may do a couple light coats of tint over the entire tail.

looks cool.. from my past experience, i have tried covering the rear tail lamps before also.... i tried many different types of tape but the one i liked best was the clear white medical bandage tape.. i installed them back in 97... in some angles, they looked similar to the jdm tail lamps, but i like my jdm tails much better .. here are some photos of my car back in 2000 or so...

The reason I had to stripe it: The stock striping was coming off in some places so I decided I would take all of it, leave the car looking nice and clean. So I started to strip them off with the help of a heat gun. I quickly ran intoa problem though, about 1/4 were painted underneith, the other 3/4 of them were not painted underneith so it looked really weird.
