Picture/Roll Call

Hey, I was wondering if we could get a first generation picture/roll call thread going. I don't know how many 1st Gens are still around here, I would be interested to know and I would like to see everyone's rides as well. Anyone interested?

Man, there are some seriously nice rides from everyone. 98, Is that some kind of lip on the front bumper? Daemonicus, I really like that grill. Wackjum (TSX Wheels? Damn!), Kadaw, Desired, & Arshdeep, that is some pretty trick photography and some really clean cars. It is amazing how well these cars keep up. We are rolling deeper than I thought!

ya i have a JDM Inspire front lip.

Kadaw what happened to your grille? do you have some sort of insert in there or did you remove it completely?

I love our cars. They have such a timeless design.

I like that front lip. Compared to the 3.2 bumper, ours looks like it is missing something. Your lip looks great. I agree that our cars seem to have a timeless design to them. I never could pull the trigger on a 2 Gen because it never seemed to have that classic "look". The rear 3/4 view of our cars shows how low slung and sleek they really are. I just hit 200,000 miles on the ODO and I have had her for 6 years and I look forward to many more with her. I even thought about the 3rd GEN which is a beautiful car, but I didn't want another FWD car, but when information surfaced about the 4th GEN, I decided to sit and wait. I will still always keep my lovely 1st Gen, whch reputedly has been the most solid and well built of all TL's.

so you said in a thread a long time ago that you took out that amber piece in your inspire tails and that you dont recommend it. how'd you actually go about doing it? did you use the oven method or a heat gun? i'm way too scared to try it but i was just wondering b/c it was kind of a let down when i got mine and saw that little amber piece in there.

Wow, this is getting better and better. Kam, I love how your car sits on those Type-S wheels. Too bad they won't fit the 2.5.

Yeah, I can tell that you have spent a lot of money on your car. Everyone that has posted seems to have, but at 200,000.00 miles, I am about to have to start shelling out "engine money" for the car instead of "mod money". Hopefully I can get back in to the game once I find out about this transmission hiccup and get the timing belt and water pump done again. (Also have to do that for the wife's car. (Hondas ) I hope to be able to do most of the stuff I have seen on here to my car. (lowering, the body kits, if they are still available somewhere, the blacked out headlights, the painted side skirts. I would like to have a roof spoiler fabricated as well.) All of that should take up a good portion of my salary until the 2009 TL comes out.

my plans for spring are wider wheels and new rubber gonna fit some 18x9 +25 wheels in the back and some 18X 8.5 +25 in the front

also the car is getting SLAMMED on omni power coilovers for the 94-97 honda accord.

don't tell me about weight difference bs. i did my research with a 12kg spring up front and 10 kg in the rear it will badass with no body rolll. woot woot
