i wanted to do this mod for a while now but i had no idea what this product was called so there for i could hardly do any searches on it. but to my surprise, a few weeks back i browsed the 2nd gen forums and found out that a local TLer had a few of these kits left for sale. thanks goes out to rev-01 for hooking me up and to TLballer for giving me the idea of this mod. i know some of you will think this mod is rice and some will think its JDM VIP. im pretty much going to the JDM theme here hence my name... = P

i just met him on his break and picked it up. i installed it myself however my installation isnt complete yet. i just have it hooked up according to how its supposed to be with the cigg lighter but i wanna hook it up to my dome light so when i open the door, it comes on and hopefully to my alarm as well.

it cost me $100 and uh $100... ?_?

thanks on the comment but incase you still have this mod in mind, it also has dble sided tape [3m] if you dont wanna drill the holes.

I know that the spotlights are visible under my sideskirt but all that will be hidden when I install the inspired kit.

 

thats how thin it is, a little bigger than 1/2 an inch if you're gonna mount from the outside. i took the inside route to eliminate the chance of the wires getting snagged from any foreign objects and therefor, i had to drill holes.

 

Looks sweet i got the other set from REV-01 so ill be doing this mod soon too. And by the way your car looks great love the black rims and headlights.

thats why i have this waiting in my room over a year now... still debating if i really wanna install it thou. its a tsudo dual aggressor with dual angled cut tips. just might grab tooo much attention from the cops [thats the last thing i wanna do] cuz it has a loud but very deep low tone. but if i do install it, its a good thing i waited or else it would have to be relocated after i put on the rear lip.
info on the rims is SSR [Vienna] sovereigns, 19x7.5, +43 offset. theres a pic above with the sticker still inside the rim but i guess its un-readable

TO ALL - thanks for all of the comments/compliments. after spending soo much money, time, effort, sweat into making my ride look nice [in my eyes] and having other pple think the same thing and compliment me on it, is the ultimate reward.

BTW great 1st gen, not feeling the "VIP STYLE" though. infact i think the whole VIP style thing is kinda ghay. Its like what happens to ricers when they grow up.
VIP = anti rice..... maybe
VIP = hidden rice....more likely
VIP = old rice.....definitely

dude, thats the nicest 1st gen i have seen to this day. i love it. the wheels are fucking nice too. i love those SSR's.

I'm not too much of a fan of the LEDs... and I don't like black rims... but god damn, your TL has to be one of the nicest TLs I have ever seen, even with the black rims. Something about that color and the black rims just scream 'SEXY'.
