I like the extra wood trim, is the parking brake stained or dirty? Gonna chrome the shiftgate or nah?

If you really wanted to, you could build your own thing to put the headunit and screen into, similiar to what I have done, and I think Kam is planning.

Does anyone else have that big black thing near the gas pedal? I don't, never noticed it on any other car before either.

The "extra" wood trim is standard on the 3.2 and later 2.5 models.

And the "black thing" is just rubber to keep your dirty shoes from staining the carpet

Damn, guess my 97 wasn't later enough

I knew what the black was for, I have just never seen it there before.

Thanks, it actually (to me) looks sorta bad in those pictures, I have since done some more sanding and painting, and still have a bit left to do. When I built it, I didn't think of the compund corners and crap that I was making hard for myself. Youre in Westerly right?

i'll be joining the club too soon, hopefully.

came from mp3car.com boards. friend and i have been watching for a while. basically have just been talking about it for some time but it's been a money thing. i just picked this car up not even a week ago so i'm still pretty happy. came from a green '93 accord lx with 197k miles on it. step up i'd say.

looks like no sigs on this board? here's mine copied from mp3car w/ links to pics of the car and what not. i'm on aim as loustylez if anyone wants to say what up.

Car - 1996 Acura 2.5TL :: Carputer - late feb '06 :: Sound - Kenwood Components (front only)
Soon - tint, possible lowering and 10" sub i have, just needs to be put in along with speakers for the back

There are sigs, hit post reply, then under additional options, you have to select the box that says show my sig, I don't think you can have it always on by any setting, but it helps keep things easy to read.

right on. i'm also considering the laptop option. i got an old amd 900mhz HP that would be just fine but coming up with a way to turn it on off easily is the trick. i wouldn't mind keeping it under the seat and just sliding it out when i wanna turn it on/off, but i've read about the serial modem wake method, and i saw how it was completely spelled out but i'm a computer guy not an electronics guy. i'll skin my frodo or whatever and it'll be sick, but getting it in there is where i'll struggle since i havn't messed with bondo or any of that stuff. i am, however, pretty hands on and i got some common sense.
