Here's Mine, Trying to get all JDM'd out.








It just got tinted today. Im ordering springs tonight too, so ill post updates again when I get the car lowered.

 

very nice car...i want a dark interrior i like the painted mudflaps and side skirts. but you need that front lip repainted

 

i love the color lolz... but if its a 2.5 shouldn't it be a sabre??? ... nice stuff.. post pics of the car w/ tints.. im planning on tinting my car this summer but wanna see wat it looks like first...

 

 

so 2.5 is saber and 3.2 is inspire??? i never understood the difference

 

The Inspire-S was a 2.5 model I think. You could get a UA3 Saber as well. Inspire/Saber just depended on what part of japan you were in, thats what i was told. Same exact car just different title, I mean even UA5-S were Inspire/Saber. I know the lip needs to be repainted, just havent gotten around to it, it looks so horrible i know, but ill get it repainted soon.
Ill post tint pics tomorrow. I didnt get anything dark, legal limit thats all.

No drop at all yet. Ill get some updated pics soon, with the tint. And again when I finally get my car lowered.

I think its 32%. The paperwork i got had the number 32 all over it so i think thats what it is. I just told the guy to make it leagal and choose what he thought would look good on the car. Thanks for the compliments!

yeah i wanted those sills too! it looks good! are the sills aluminum? i'm hoping those sills will be on ebay again....

i really like the painted side and mud guards!! how much did that run you for to get those painted? I'm trying to get mine painted but most paint shops here don't want to do it because they say that the paint won't stick on the side and mud gaurds!! One of the paint shops was willing to do it but for like $450.00!!!!

I think the sills are aluminum, there are tiny scuff marks on them, but i used never dull on them and its really really hard to tell that they are blemished. Besides, im gonna end up wearing and tearing on them anyway.
I know a local guy that does touch up paint work for all the car dealerships in my area. He painted my lip, skirts, and mud guards for $200 total.

 

Btw:

Both the 1995-1998 Saber and Inspire offered 2.5 engines...

The Saber UA2 and the Inspire UA2.

The only difference between the two are in cosmetics only. The Saber UA2 had the orange front blinkers and orange taillight blinkers. In Contrast, the Inspire UA2 had the cleared out front blinkers and the cleared out taillight blinkers (we all know as the inspire taillights). Also the Saber UA2 front grill is similar to ours but with the exception of the "H" logo. The Inspire UA2 front grill has a chrome strip running across the front.

So the closest thing to our TLs in Japan are the Sabers!! because of the orange front blinkers and taillights and grill but with the exception of the H on the front grill and the side markers!!

The saber ua2 was to be marketed outside of japan to other countries. i think honda did this because of vehicle laws and requirements in other countries. i guess other countries require to have an orange deflector on the lights like over here in the US.

from what i know, the honda inspire is only offered in japan. japan is the only place to buy a honda inspire from an official honda dealership. i've check official honda websites in the philippines, UK, and New Zealand and none of them offer the honda inpsire in the 2004 lineup! you can do a search for USED cars in those websites and suprisingly the philippines and UK did not offer a model search for the saber but new zealand did.

consumers in japan are lucky because they get to chose what they want...!

 

The 2004 Inspire is offered in Japan only and is based on the US Accord but is as luxurious as a Legend if not more.


Previous Inspires were imported to Russia, New Zealand and a few other countries besides Japan.

The 1995 - 1998 Inspire even offered a CD based navigation system.

 

diff btw saber and inspire are the wheels also.

 

The should be able to paint the mud guards.... they just have to add a special additive to the paint that makes the paint more of a rubbery compound that will prevent it from cracking.

By the way those door sills are freaking nice.. I LIKE!!!!!!

Also I like the wood grain on the window swithches and the center console.. (Mine doesnt have it)

What kind of front lip is that and where can I get 1?

 

Its a JDM Inspire Lip. I bought mine from a guy in Hawaii, an A-TL browser that was parting out his car. Other than that i dont know where to get one or how.
