96 2.5TL - 56K be aware!

Went rustling through some old pics as promised; here are the pictures of my old 1st gen. I had it for about a year and a half when I was in High school. I wish I still had pics of it stock..
1st set of pics, no drop.

This is when TV's first came out, they didn't have the cool stuff yet

This is with the drop - made a huge difference in the ride and the look of the car IMO

The 1st gen family - you can see the difference in the drop.

Now I drive the green one

I got rid of the TL for a new Spec V Should have listened to everyone....

After the Spec, I got this GS400 - was my favorite car of all times

RIDE HIGHT DIFFERENCE:

hahaha the trunk thing cost me like $12 I think for the brackets, people were in love with that. This was before lambo doors and all that jazz....I would never do anything like that now.

The GS was an awesome car, I sold it because I was driving 60 miles a day to and from work and that's when gas went to 3.69/gallon (this was back in 04 I think). I ended up picking up a 95 camry for $1000 in great shape and I kept both cars for about 4 months; then I ended up getting rid of the GS since that was the one that I had to make payments on...plus there were issues that needed attention and I actually ended up selling it for $50 less than I paid after about 8 months and 16K miles

I honestly couldn't tell you. I replaced all the bulbs for hyper white/blueish bulbs and I got rid of the yellow condoms in the fogs...that's just how it ended up looking; other than that I didn't do anything.

I couldn't tell you. I sold this car about 4 years ago. I remember using silverstar bulbs but not positive if they were in at the time of the pictures.

I don't remember what it was but I got it on eBay. I had it on for a couple of months then took it off because it was too loud.

I got it off eBay, I think it was like 100 bucks for both pieces but could be wrong. It was a very easy install, they just go right over the original grills and then I put the A back on over it.

I drive the green one now, but it's stock other than tints, alarm and a stereo.

Yea - I always wanted 18's but tires were too expensive. I went through 3 sets of 17's on this car.

Thanks for all the comments. I actually still see it once in a while, still has the grills on and is still tinted. Otherwise it's stock. I took everything off when I sold it.
Kinda wish I still had her. This was def one of my favorite cars.

I think they were Giovanni's but don't remember 100%. I had 3 different sets of 17's within a year on that car. I liked these the best.

Just got a pic text from my buddy that works at a dealership about 30 miles north of the city:

This makes me I might go look at it tonight and see what kind of condition she's in; maybe I'll buy it back.

No, gas mileage is not bad enough. I'm going to see what they've got in it, although I don't even know what I'd do with it if I did buy it.

If I was looking for a garage filler, it wouldn't be the TL :P e30 FTW!

If I'd buy it, I'd throw some Eibach's back on and a set of 18's. I would just switch off TL's every other day I guess...

That looks dope! Too bad you couldn't of painted the side skirts, it would of looked soooo much better IMO. It also would of looked lower.
