Killing Battery
Killing Battery
Acura TL 1998;
Put a new battery in it and the next day was dead.......
Had the Alternator checked and it was ok.
When I switched it off you have the cooling fan run for a while and
it switches off. You but an amp meter in the line and you read
about 2.7amps. After pulling the fuses, find that the cooling fan
fuse removes the amps. When you plug in and unplug it, it you hear a click
like a relay. Only, I can't seem to find where it is??? Seems to be around the
front or around the cooling fan somewhere.
The Acura service man told me it was on the passenger side under the carpet.
What I hear is coming from the front.
After you plug and unplug a few times seems not to be any amps of drain..
Anyone have an idea or had a problem like this?

do you have an amplifer that is not cutting off? or check your brake light, the plastic thing ( it is a plastic piece that hold the brake to a degree of turing off the brake lights) on your brake light might be broken causing the brake lights to be on.
