Sure, I could do it for you. BUT... What are we going to use for fuel management? Do you know how little boost you can run on our stock injectors? Did you want one turbo, or two? Do you know where to put them?

Basically Dreamweaver, this is a dream that you're weaving right now.

^ The OBX headers are pretty shitty. The Y-pipe has a smaller ID than the stock one, and the collector is a REALLY shitty design.

~Cheers~

P.S. Dreamweaver is from Adobe.

all i asked was if it was possible and how hard it would be. Weaver is my last name and dream weaver is the song the played at my grandfathers funeral by the way. and just casue im 16 does not mean anything. i have the funds to do it but i would much rather have a tuebo 3,2 if at all possible instead of a civic like every other 16 year old.

There was a black turbo'd 2.5, not a 3.2. Like I said, I could turbo my 3.2 but what will I do for fuel management?

You CAN do it, but you'll need to come up with your own OBD-II fuel management system. Good luck with that.

By the way, you are much better off just getting a 2002 - 2004 RL motor and dropping it in there. Add a few mods to that and have an honest 245+ hp with some torque.

Sorry to intrude on the 1st gen boards, but WHY ON EARTH would anyone wanna put a non functioning intercooler on their ride??? LOL! Reminds me of this: http://chicagoz.com/v-web/bulletin/b...cb35f82b4da146

drop in a 2g cl-s motor with a 6speed and find a comptech blower if you "have the funds" it will probably run you about 7-10k for the engine/tranny + drop + blower + labor...

then find a way to stick 1st gear.

or if you really want a fast car quit playing around with fwd hondas and go for a 240 or one of the fairladies that nissan has to offer.

our 1g's are meant to be driven like a pimp-god imo, they are rare to find in a nice condition let alone with some good clean mods like people on these forums have, speeding around in them (especially with stock brakes) is a good way to get our beautiful 1g's (and yourself) extinct

btw i just turned 18 a few weeks ago so stop bashing on the youngling lol

Plus $10K for firewall cutting, crossmember fabbing, etc.

Silvias are played out... Even ジゴロ治五郎's Silvia's all built up already, and I don't see where the manga's going to go... . There was a built blacktop-SR S14 roaming the streets here in SF on full slicks who still got taken badly by my friend's BPU Supra who was on street tyres.

You need to make the car a manual trans first.. That would cost you at least 3-5g's paying someone else..

Youd need to convert the car to obd1 and fabricate custom turbo manifolds that would move the turbo to some mystery spot that has room for them or it..

You would need 550-720cc injectors, a 255 fuel pump, and a chipped ecu.Even then im not sure if chrome has maps for the c32 motor?

All in all it would cost you at the cheapest 10-15 grand to do it. And thats still with a stock motor..

Id suggest ductile iron sleeves, rods, and pistons.. Even then you will be a guinea pig cause no one has built the motors up like that to find the weak points. For all i know you could do that, spin 7500 on 25 pounds of boost with a built motor and snap the crank or break the oil pump. Then youd have to start over with those things in mind..

Controling the fuel would be one of the easier steps. Making the hardware work would be the pickle since theres not a lot of room, nor was there a manual trans version of our car to snag parts from..

Im well aware that you may have money.. Im also aware you are 16.. I just assumed you dont have 15g's to throw away on a car thats tough to mod. Many of us on here do have the money, and keep the car cause we like the styling, but most of us have had them since they were new or close to it to have gained that bond and ambition to spend that kinda money on it.. I just cant see you having that much bond with the car or expertise in fabrication at 16.

later.

silvias are played out by riceboys who hardpark them. For the populus that drives hard, they are a good platform. Im building a 93 coupe s13 right now.. Instead of the sr20 im doing a vg30dett though. My friend had the same setup with a PT SC63 single turbo, bigger injectors, clutch, intercooler, raised boost, and exhaust. He ran 11.3 @ high 120s- low 130s on street tires and made well over 530whp on pump. That was a low budget modest build also.

Motors cost 1500 bucks and are easy to put in there. They are built like a brick shit house also. Just think about how fast just a stock 300zx is. Now keep in mind that stock 300zx japanese iroc camaro looking thing weighs like 4000 lbs also.

Im building mine to slide though.. It does alright with just the ka24de in it and good suspension though. More fun than my 11:1 cr tl that is

^ Certain exceptions, Colt. You know how that is! I do like the S13 chassis and I do believe that it's a great car. Only thing is too many guys around here drive them and most are in *horrible* shape, so finding a good one to start is hard. That and most people are prejudiced when you say that you drive a 240, haha!

sorry to jack the post with nissan talk but i have a 300zx and i'm skeptical about the vg30 in an s13.

the vg30 has a cast iron block
the vg30 is obviously a 6 cyl (duh)

generall it's a MUCH heavier motor which i think throws off the perfect weight balancing of a jdm silvia which would be using the sr20

the sr20 has an aluminum block
the sr20 is a 4 cyl (again duh)

besides an rb26 swap which i don't agree with either i think 4cyl is the only way to go for a 240, especially the s13 which tends to oversteer in the first place with such a light rear.

ok i'm done talking about nissans just some food for thought bro

I have no experience with that computer, but we're about to run ProEFI on one of the Supras. It's currently got a Stinger standalone but the ProEFI blows it's casing off, haha.

Saw some works at p1p ECU on pgmfi.org. NSX NA1, Legend KA7-9, TL 1gen - have same chips and its possible to modify them for turbo. Interesting that G25A ECU has two fuel maps - one "richer" then other. As I think it connected with varible intake: richer map for the full throttle.
