your best bet is to get one custom made by someone in your area. my buddy got a custom exhaust for his crappy camry, paid 300 bucks with installation for a catback and it came out pretty nice it has a nice low rumble to it that doesn't sound crappy at all.

or you can just go with oem which is your best bet for quiet

Dreamweaver, there was a thread started about the exhaust by HaynTL I believe, where we discussed this a bit. The way you asked is almost word for word on how he asked, too, IIRC.

~Cheers~

i have a apexi worldsport 2 muffler and a custom axleback and it sounds very good. it has a nice smooth deep sound in the low rpms and once you get to the higher rpms it will go away. u only really need a axle back because the rest of the stock piping is 2.5 inches unless your goin to get a high flow cat then its goin to sound much louder. it gave a little power increase but i mostly got the exhaust for the sound

magnaflow and flowmaster are american brands my friend, sure they make some stuff for imports but i wouldn't use it.

i haven't done much research on exhausts for my TL but on my 300zx i've found greddy, borla, hks are some good brands personally i have a greddy catback with some other fairlady specific brand 2.5" piping up to the headers.

i'd go custom or oem since i think a loud exhaust on our cars is cheesy since they aren't fast and will never be fast cars.
