Close to. This fing can block your differntial for more positive start (on dragrace or in winter for example) but works little bit differ and less bloking power than LSD.

There is no disadvantage to having and LSD. Most all higher end performance cars have LSD from the factory.

^ so your saying both tires will spin instead of one? that doesnt make sense, if i spin tires right now both them spin?

Depends on pavement: in ideal conditions on clear, dry and flat asphalt, good warm tires and right wheel rake you can slip both, our cars have good balance and axels length, but usually something is wrong in our lifes Most tiresome moment for me - on dragerace is changing first to second gear - tires begin to spin, but one of them usually looses mesh and begin to burnout - so I loose if not release accelerator's pedal. And of course - winter driving - we have lot of snow and sometimes FWD LSD cars have really more practicability than non-LSD.
