I assume that this forum for modifications would be suitable for my question ...I have a 12' H2 Orion Sub in a Pro Box that will run on a monoblock class D PlanetAudio 1250W amp...I haven't installed it because I need two things: a head unit & a security system. I plan on running a seperate amp to my component speakers so...does anyone have any suggestions regarding the unit set up? And most importantly...what's the best kind of alarm system that someone would suggest? Your is much appreciated

Sorry about the post..... I had it over in the audio section and I guess no one has any input regarding my question....that's why I was tryin to see if any of the first generation TL owners had any audio system advice

 

a single 12 H2 pushed by a monoblock 1250w? is that 1250 RMS? I'm not sure if your sub can handle that much power but if it can, don't over do it. Be sure your enclosure is build to spec so don't buy any box that will fit a 12" and use that.

As far as headunits go, its up to you but I have always been a fan of Alpine. Alpine is considered one of those "performance" headunits as well as Eclipse. Alpine has the best looking headunit, in my opinion. If you do go with Alpine, be sure to get one with a remote.

Alarms.. Id go with either clifford/viper. if you want, you can get compustar or dei. there are options to add onto your alarm system so price may vary. you can have remote start, window roll, etc.
