Hi all,

I'm purchasing a 98 3.5TL that's in really great condition. I'd like to have a trunk liner for it to avoid getting stuff embedded in the carpet, and snow and mud from gear making a mess.

There does not seem to be a trunk liner made for the 96-98 TL's. Did the trunk configuration for the second generation 99 TL change that much or could I use the 99 trunk liner in the 98?

I understood the TL debuted in 96 not 95. The listing goes on to say Universal Cargo Mat, Black, All Weather Mats, Easily Trimmed, Allows Sizes from 34" x 48", down to 26" x 36"
But the picture shows a lip around the tray. So trimming it would destroy the capturing ability of the tray if it has to be cut to fit.

Thanks for any info or pointers to a better alternative.

I'm not sure if it will or not, tomorrow though I will measure those dimensions in my trunk and let ya know how it looks.
