Do what I did. Go on ebay and buy an autodimming mirror. Get a mirror button. Find a place on the windshield and apply that button so the mirror can securely stay. Insert the mirror then run the wires to make it turn on in Accessory mode and voila...you've got autodimming mirror.

Well, suit yourself. I've been using the mirror for about a year and it is working great. It looks OEM and once you tidy it up, no one will be able to tell that the mirror is installed by me.

Any autodimming mirror will work. I prefer the Gentex models. If you google online, there's a web forum that has all the wiring schematics with the Gentex mirrors.

So an autodimming mirror??? Im assuming it just senses bright light and dims automatically to reduce glare in the drivers eyes???

I dont think our rear view mirrors dim when u turn on the headlights.

why not just get an autodimmin mirror from a newer acura? Wire it up and your good to go! not to mention that it will have a stock look as long as you mount it right.

I prefer manual. I hated the auto one on my '03 and now my '05.

Just buy one that is for a 03+ Accord or '99+ TL
