I would, but I sort of like my cheap tinted tails, and I would be pissed to pay $70 for shipping.

Are the 2.5 and 3.2 tails different, or are they all the same? These tails are "UA2" but I've seen UA3 and maybe even UA4. What exactly does the UA mean?

UA is the chassis code.

UA1 being the 2.0 5 cylinder that was available in a few countries outside North America.

UA2 being the US 2.5 TL and the UA3 being the 3.2 TL

UA4 is for the 99+ Inspire (JDM only!) with a J25 V6 motor

UA5 is the 1999-2003 Acura TL/Inspire with the J32 V6.

Does that mean it doesn't fit the 3.2??? since it says its only for a UA and UA2... i thought all tails for the 1st Gens were the same... could be wrong...

Well... i know i'm bidding... hope i can get them for a low price... and no one swoops on them this time putting more cash down...

Yes. Headlights and taillights are the same. A few other things are the same too.

I personally think they look terrible when cleared by hand. You see the metal reflective housing and its just not clean looking. Also it looks like one of those tails is faded and aged, while the other looks clean and new. Maybe its just the pics, but im really picky. Especially if im gonna plunk down a couple hundred bucks on something. Good luck to you bidders!

Yeah I was thinking the same thing (they look bad when cleared by hand). But I thought that if I sprayed a coat of Nite Shades (or whatever tint spray I can find) on the inside of the clear lens, it would help. Eh?

I agree about MOST tails cleared by hand. That is why when I do mine, I will be fitting a clear lens in there to cover the signal housing. Clear flourescent ceiling tile lens. SHOULD work mint.

congrats brother welcome to the club...
As an FYI just make sure too change the harnesses on both tailights from your stock lights to the inpspire ones. I made the mistake of only changing one and had one side all messed up for the longest, until this past week when I decided to try and figure out the problem.

once again

CONGRATS!!!!

they do come with the wiring, but its not corerct USDM wiring, its JDM wiring, that was my exact mistake. But once you remove your stock ones, youll notice our stock ones have an extra bulb. the rear side marker. Also the main switch on our cars is on the left side, not the right side. Trust me bro, just take your wiring harnesses of both your current lights and put them on the new ones. It will save you from driving around for 6 months (im lazy when it comes to this) too finally get around and figuring it out..
