I have just bought a 97 3.2TL and the guy who sold me the car gave me wireless remote but it seems like it's for newer model and when I program it, it wouldn't work.
He said his wife owned the car but I think he is a dealer. Anyways, he gave me RL owner's manual and I don't know all the functionality of the car also.

My question is, is there anywhere I can get the remote and Owner's manual cheaper than getting it at the dealer?

I think I paid too much since he told me his wife was the original owner. I went to Carfax after I got the car, it was a loaner and he got it from the auction. The title was in some dealer's name. Can I do anything? Maybe take him to the court for selling a dealer's car at his house and pretending to be the owner. Is it legal sell dealer's car at his private house?

yes its legal for him to sell the car privately at home.. think of it as a side business..
