Do the brands really make a difference?I've needed some new ones for a while but did not know if there is a real major difference between brands.

 

i have the same question but actually the brands make no difference. like when i went to walmart last week to look for wipers, they had RAIN X wipers but i didn't think those really work. i mean c'mon....they're WIPERS! when i was there, i didn't see any of the "refills" they just sold the whole set (wiper and the blade-rubber)

 

i think the best wipers are PIAA...they leave a silicone coating after every wipe.......this with rainX is a winner

 

The PIAA's are great, but they are quite pricey. At $20 or more each, you might be better off getting a new set every few months. I usually keep my eye on the paper and see when they go on sale for like $3.99 or $4.99 and get a bunch. Plus I like getting the winter ones for the cold months.
