winter questions

winter questions

i bought my car 2nd hand, when i had a full inspection, i remember them telling me that my coolent level was at around -25 celcuis, what will happen when my city becomes -30 to -40 celcius in feburary? will i have a problem?

oh also i would like to know, might sound stupid, but when do i know i have to change my air filter, change my power steering fluid, my braking fluid or my auto transmission fluid. how can i check?

they refill all that stuff when you get your oil changed. Keep your oil changes up and you'll be fine.

i just had an oil change, they inspected the level and didn't say anything. so once they refill it, the coolent level will be correct? then what's the purpose of a coolent flush midas is about the do for me for $70 canadian?

I always double check to make sure all the levels are checked after an oil change because sometimes mechanics get lazy...
