Question Wider tires in rear

what do you guys think about putting 225/40/18 tires in the front and 235/40/18 tires in the rear?

Well, the whole reason to put wider tires on a car is to improve traction during acceleration. Since our cars are FWD, there would be no point to put wider tires in the rear, other than for looks. Also keep in mind that the wider the tire, the more rolling resistance, resulting in decreased gas mileage and louder road noise when driving.
