i actually had bought JDM clear front bumpers (1999) for about $300.00 and the tailights JDM.. oh and my Mugen front lip ( Is that JDM?) not sure oh well.

 

i bought my clear bumper lens on ebay several years ago and the item said it was off of an inspire. so basically i bought it used..from a wrecked car. I paid 80 dollars.

my tails were jdm brand new from honda dealership in japan. bought from ValueTL. I wonder where hes at? I do know that at one point people were complaining that their products took too long to get to the states and he would never respond to peoples email (simply b/c he would go to japan often). I guess he got fed up with the complaints and didn't want to deal with it anymore? Oh he also got into an accident so no more TL for him. Maybe that was an issue that he didn't visit the board anymore

 

I have a JDM Inspire front lip, Inspire door sills, inspire tail lamps, clear lenses from procarparts.com, inspire badging on the rear, and a GAB strut tower bar.
I think thats all my shit.

Love the JDM front lip. If you don't want a flashy body kit, I think that the lip is the perfect subtle touch to the car. I'm jealous Acurasnake.

Anyone have large pictures of the JDM front lip?

Is there a JDM lip available for the sides and back? I think most of the body kits out at the moment for our cars are way too big and gaudy, but that is just me.

No lip for the side and back. A couple people on here have one, so post pix guys...I never get tired of seeing them!

Also, i'm not sure but the lip might not fit the 3.2...I think it was just made for the 2.5.

 

all i got is the rear "Inspire" badge and the bumper lenses...

The Acura "A" is only there right now to cover up the hole... I have the "H" sitting at my house

Oh, I know. I tried for over a year, e-mailing and calling people who don't speak a lick of English. No avail...I found some people who could get pretty much anything smaller than the lip, like emblems, grilles, ect.

Different front bumper. The 3.2 already has a "lip" almost built in. The 2.5 front bumper below the air dam goes right under the car without the little protrusion.

 

Thanks for the compliments HQ everytime i look at my car i am reminded how much i love it. believe me, its seen its share of inconsiderate peeps in parking lots, and shopping carts, but over all, i havent had any major problems with it. im hoping to do what mike did with his an get all the minor blemishes out and polish or repaint or something to get mine as shiny as his was. that would be sweet!

And there is no way itll fit a 3.2 like HQ said, the shape of the bumpers is totally different. just stick with the inspired motorsports lip. its really nice lookin.

You can get one from Japan from a Honda Dealership. You might be able to try other japanese parts importers. i got mine from a guy in hawaii. Acurasnake got his from some dude in malaysia i think. i got mine easy. some dude in hawaii was selling his so i lucked out. Acurasnake went through hell and high water to get his. i honestly have no idea where to get another one.

Actually, if you think about it... our car's were built in Japan... Actually the last Acura model that WAS made in Japan. So we are all JDM!

Now I want one really bad. I did size a GAB for an Accord to my 2.5 but, the brace was too short. The drop is pretty extreme.

Its funny that I sold my car over 2 years ago, and today 1 year later after the last time I went on the forums, I go on 2 acura forums, and on both people are still talking about my car.

Hello, I just bought a used JDM 1999 Honda Inspire. I really don't care that much about what 3.2V on the trunk means but it looks almost exactly like an Acura TL. The VIN plate in the engine compartment says "Made in USA" and there are "Honda of America" badges on each C pillar.
My questions are:
1. Does anyone have a link to an English language version of the owners manual?
2. If not, does anyone know how to set the clock (I've tried every different button permutation and cannot change the hour although the minutes are exactly correct.)
3. Anyone have info on what I could buy to replace the broken Gathers 10 disc CD changer?
4. Any info on which DVD-ROM version would work? I doubt if the Cayman Islands are digitized but I just want to get the Japanese "no disc" message off the screen.

BTW the TV works fine - too bad we cannot have this feature in the USA. Picture goes off when the car starts moving, comes back on when you stop. Audio stays on all the time. Great for watching the evening news in stop & go rush hour (yes, we DO have a rush hour in the Caymans)
