Wheel Alignment-Newbie

I just bought my 97 2.5 TL yesterday and appreciate all of the info. Got a great deal. The car came with new Firestone Firehawk tires about $200 a piece. The car was drifting to the left and I took it to my mechanic for alignment. He said it could be alignment or radial drag. He did an alignment and switched the two front tires. Now it is drifting (although drifting a lot less) the opposite way. Any suggestions? Could is be balance?

Not quite sure, but did you check the tire pressures to make sure the were even too?

Pressure

I checked the pressure and my owners manual says I should put 36lbs in front and 32lbs in rear, should I do this? I am also considering trading in the tires. Any suggestions?

I would try out those pressures, or at least be close to them. I meant to make sure that the left matches the right, if you have signifficantly less pressure in one side, the car can pull or drift that way a little bit.
