What size tires with 18's??

What size tires with 18's??
I'm sure I've asked this before, but was curious again, because I am very close to getting my 18's. So let me know. I don't want 40 series, nor do I want 60 series.

I best tire size to go with 18s on the 1st gen TL would be 225/40/18

I had 225/40/18 on a 8" wide wheel. You can fit a 235 if the wheels are narrower then 8". Then you will have a little more beef to protect the outer lip of the wheels.

if your ride is dropped or you are planning on dropping it, i would not go with 235

235 will only make your tire wider.. Like duece said you will rub with that size tire if you drop. If you want a thicker tire you might want to look at a tire size of 225/45/18 but that tire size may be hard to find.
